http://www.afnn.org/Content/Indian%20Trails/IndianTrailsFall1999RetailPriceList.htm lists it as being Tripsacum dactyloides. A Google search revealed quite few hits for the latter spelling that you gave -- the above is just the first url I picked up. John

Friends:
We have been asked to identify an ornamental grass which apparently has
a trade name (cultivar name?) something like
"Fhakahatchoe" or "--hatchee"
I have not seen the grass, but am told that it is some sort of a plume
grass, very attractive.
Anybody have a clue?
