This past weekend I had a short, but quite interesting, conversation with
Roberto Brewer Martinez of the Asociacion para el Desarrollo de la Educacion
Superior in Venezuela (he was here in Indiana because his daughter just
graduated from Saint Mary's). He is very interested in making contacts with
college and university faculty who might be interested in teaching and/or
conducting research at

Estacion de Biologia Marina dos Mosquises
Parque Nacional Archipelago de Los Roques
            Venezuela

The Dos Mosquises Marine Station supports pre- and post-graduate
teaching/research in marine biology, ecology, fisheries, taxonomy and
systematics, and archaeology. If you or anyone you know would be interested
in learning more, you may contact Los Roques by e-mail at

fclr at reacciun.ve or jcfernan at reacciun.ve

Senor Martinez may be contacted by telephone at 011-58-016-6245798.

I apologize if this seems like an advertisement and this is not an
endorsement; I thought info about this relatively unknown marine lab would be
of interest to some taxacomers.
