Unknown plant

Someone suggested papaya for the unknown.  I think papayas usually have more divisions to the leaf, as shown at:

I think the plant may be a species of Jatropha, such as is shown at:

http://www.csdl.tamu.edu/FLORA/mandy/jatropha.htm
