Bill and others:
Most chinese taxonomists that I know of do ALWAYS now include an
English abstract which includes a diagnosis and type information.
And as for the scientific name, they MUST BE WRITTEN OUT IN THE
ROMAN alphabet to be available.

In the older Japanese literature, species names are often printed out in
the Roman alphabet and a brief German or English diagnosis is given (this
is for animals). Why cannot our Chinese friends do the same and thus make
their work accessible worldwide?
