easy publication

My point was just that. From what I understand there are rules. Why not
make it a requirement the the data be published in a recognized peer
reviewed publication and accepted by your peers before being widely
accepted. I was very surprised that the previously mentioned
publications (nothing against the publications themselves. I actually
enjoy reading them.) were considered acceptable in such endeavors. I was
under the assumption, until recently, that a name or revision had to
have been published in three accepted peer review journal type
publication before being widely accepted.
