GEOMETRIC MORPHOMETRICS WORKSHOP
********************************************************************
This is the final announcement concerning the Second "Intermorph"
Geometric Morphometrics Workshop, to be held at the University of Natal
in Durban, South Africa, from the 17th to 20th July, 2000. Registration
closes on the 1st of May.

It will be a great opportunity to learn from the masters themselves!
The
workshop will be run by Profs James Rohlf (State University of New
York, Stony Brooks) and Marco Corti (University of Rome "La Sapienza").
Dr Olav Jordens (University of Natal, Durban) and Prof Steve Piper
(University of Natal,
Pietermarizburg) will do a session on linear algebra. The registration
cost is approximately US$ 67 (ZAR400). A limited number of discounted
copies ($US40) of the 1996 NATO book "Advances in Morphometrics" edited
by Leslie F. Marcus, Marco Corti, Anna Loy, Gavin J.P. Naylor and Dennis
E. Slice, will be available.

NB: We are limited to 15 persons but, there are still a few places.
