     Request for Corrections to Gleason & Cronquist's Manual of Vascular
     Plants of Northeastern United States


     Within the coming few months, The New York Botanical Garden plans to
     publish a corrected edition of H. A. Gleason & A. Cronquist's Manual
     of Vascular Plants of Northeastern United States and Adjacent Canada,
     second edition.  We ask those of you who have noticed errors in the
     G&C Manual to call them to our attention (nholmgren at nybg.org) no later
     than 31 OCTOBER 1999.
