Embioptera

I was looking on the web to see what kind of information might be
available on Embioptera (webspinners), and I was surprised to learn that
there is still some controversy about their closest relatives.
I classify webspinners as sister group to the stoneflies
(plecopterans), but it seems there are those who believe that they are
closely related to earwigs (dermapterans). Anyone have comments on this or
know if the Embioptera-Dermaptera relationship is one that is widely
embraced (or are their similarities convergent?).
