Adaptive values Selaginellaceae, administrators

Aw, lets be a bit gentler on the politicians and the administrators. For
every bad one, there are many dozens who have spent their lives creating,
cajoling, maintaining, a social structure in which, at least, we can
clamber around doing our thing. The bad/good ratio is probably not any
different among "them" than among "us scientists". As in any area,
despite our problems with a specific case, we probably achieve more faster
by positive reinforcement to the good ones than grumping about the bad
ones. Me thinks.
