NOTICE OF JOB OPENING


The American Museum of Natural History seeks to fill an immediate opening
for a
full-time SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT in the Dept. of Ichthyology.
Responsibilities are to
assist in collection maintenance and research, including preparation of
research
materials, specimen care and processing, bibliographic and clerical work,
computer
data entry and other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications: BA/BS in biological sciences; background in
ichthyology and/or
training in vertebrate zoology; basic computer skills.

Salary: $23,885 per annum
