                             PLANT TAXONOMIST

     The Brooklyn Botanic Garden seeks a plant taxonomist to work
on The NY Metropolitan Flora.  Ph.D. in Plant Taxonomy, or
equivalent experience required with demonstrated ability to write
keys and descriptions.  Preference given to candidates with
knowledge of the plants in northeastern North America.  Ability
to work with others and a desire to write floras essential.  Time
available to pursue own research interests.  Review begins 15
