Dear Fellow SLA Members:I would like to cordially invite your attendance at the 2024 Western Society for Kinesiology and Wellness Annual Meeting (October 2nd-4th, Oakland, California).This conference celebrates the breadth of kinesiology’s intellectual and societal contributions through diverse pursuits in teaching, research, and service. For example, course work from my philosophy and history course in physical activity was presented at their 2022 and 2023 conferences. From reading Aethlon, I know members of this group make philosophical, historical and other related contributions to insights on sport and other human movement expressions.
