SLA friends,

When I watched the 1982 film of Steinbeck's Cannery Row recently, I was surprised that I could not remember a single reference to the fim in all of my SLA/Arete/Aethlon experience. In the movie (unlike the novel) Nick Nolte's Doc is a legendary MLB pitcher who left the game after nearly killing a batter with a pitch. There are a couple of (short) baseball scenes in the film.

Anybody remember something that I've missed? Is there an opportunity here for a paper?
