<i>Cannery Row </i>recently, I was surprised that I could not remember a single reference to the fim in all of my SLA/<i>Arete</i>/<i>Aethlon</i> experience. In the movie (unlike the novel) Nick Nolte's Doc is a legendary MLB pitcher who left the game after
nearly killing a batter with a pitch. There are a couple of (short) baseball scenes in the film.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
