[ARETE] sports flash fiction?

Heinz's "Death of a Racehorse" is *technically *journalism but reads like a
story and is under 1000 words, which is a fairly common measure for whether
something is or is not flash. Also one of the best ever pieces of sports
writing, in my opinion, so that's a nice bonus.
