[Simtrainer-l] Call to Action regarding U.S. DOE

Jocelyn, Thank you for sending out this message.

Like so many of you, I am greatly disturbed that what we have fought so
long and hard for in terms of equity, diversity, and inclusion legislation/
programs for our American children and  adults are crumbling all around
us.  We have to DO something!!!

Just a while ago,I heard that there is now a proposal by the current
administration to freeze all federal grants related to teacher training.
Surely, research can teach us something about the  "efficiency" and
"effectiveness" of teaching and learning for ALL students, as it has done
in the past.

CLD is a great avenue for making our voices heard.  The 5calls.org is also
a great tool to share our concerns.  I have downloaded the app on my phone
and am making daily calls, as are many of my friends.
