[Simtrainer-l] The widening gaps

Hi all, Imagine my surprise when I saw a headline in the Lawrence Journal World about the widening achievement gaps! (Please see the attached article.) People are starting to wake up to the realities of children falling behind. Let’s hope this is a sign of the pendulum swinging in the right direction. The person behind this article is a school board member. Messages like this will start appearing more and more in the next few months. We all need to be aware of this moment. The moment is either here or it is coming soon where we can all be leaders and step forward to help schools with this problem. I have every confidence that you will be able to meet this moment with your knowledge and skills. Thanks again for all you are doing to help students and teachers in your area!  Jean
