Thanks Jean for sharing this important information. I'm sure most of us are
already seeing the negative academic impact, so the more SIM we can get out
there the better for all students.
To that end, I have been asked by a local middle school to submit a
proposal where I would provide professional development and continued
support in the areas of writing. Specifically, I would instruct and support
teachers using the Sentence Writing, Paragraph Writing, and Theme Writing
strategies throughout the next school year or maybe even two.
I have never developed anything like this before, so I thought I would
reach out. Do any of you have a sample proposal you would be willing to
share? Something that includes the fee for your services would also be
extremely helpful. I have no idea how to market myself and appreciate any
and all advice.
