Hi Sue
Tough to generalize re what is good for ELs. Language proficiency levels in both English and L1 are a major consideration in deciding best bets tools and approaches.

If there is anyone who is having success with something specific, please let me know. Does anyone have recommendations for using learning strategies with EL learners? This teacher just learned Fundamentals of Sentence Writing, and she is going to start with that. She is fairly new to teaching, and she is trying to figure it all out.
