[Simtrainer-l] ELL recommendations

Hello,
I am working with a young lady who is brand new to SIM.  She has English Language Learners who are in grades K - 8.  It has been a while since I’ve focused on materials for this population.  If there is anyone who is having success with something specific, please let me know.  Does anyone have recommendations for using learning strategies with EL learners?  This teacher just learned Fundamentals of Sentence Writing, and she is going to start with that.  She is fairly new to teaching, and she is trying to figure it all out.
