Hello SIM Network,
We’ve posted updated order forms, with new digital options on the website at: https://kucrl.ku.edu/order-forms.  Please remind teachers to adhere to the copyright guidelines below.

Some teachers are using Peardeck, Seesaw, or similar apps/software to allow students to mark-up and turn in the current PDFs.  You can also check out our page with links to the teacher resources (CER, LS, FUSION, Xtreme, SIM Virtual Tips & Tricks) in SIMville at: https://simville.ku.edu/sim-resources-teachers

Copyright and Trademark Details
1.    Appropriate use of digital instructor materials during online PD. Some of the instructor materials are now available digitally as PDFs. All SIM™ materials and programs are copyrighted. That means that you cannot distribute the whole manual, guidebook, student materials book, or program to teachers or put them on a public network. Please purchase the correct number of instructor materials for your number of teachers.

2.    Appropriate use of digital student materials during online PD. Some of the student materials are now available digitally as PDFs. Like the student materials books, these materials are copyrighted. Selected PDFs can be used in your PowerPoint presentations to illustrate a particular type of learning sheet. They can also be sent to participants to complete independently, in pairs, or in cooperative groups and then to be sent back to you. Please purchase the correct number of student materials for your number of students.

3.    Appropriate use of digital student materials during instruction with students. Again, the digital materials for students are copyrighted. Permission is given to a teacher to use these materials while instructing students, just like they would be used in paper form. They are not to be distributed as a whole group or stored in any kind of information storage system or network to which the public has access. Teachers may store student materials within a system to which their students have access in order to complete their assignments.  Please purchase the correct number of student materials for your number of students.
