Hi all, I'm attaching a link below to an editorial that appeared in the Lawrence Journal World this week. Kris Kobach is running for governor in Kansas, and he has some proposals for education. These ideas seem to go hand-in-hand with the proposals of the Secretary of Ed, Betsy DeVos. Basically, they are proposing that funding will be cut for low-performing schools. (They want that funding to go to private schools.) We all need to be vigilant to ensure that low test scores produced by a school are used as signals for ensuring that empirically validated instructional programs be used in that school versus reducing the funding for that school. Just my two cents!!

I came across the quote below this week. It seems to pertain to you! :-) Enjoy the flow of gratitude that is coming to you today and every day! Jean
"There isn't a moment in any day, when someone, somewhere,
isn't better off because of something you've done.
And no matter what you do, or don't do, with the rest of your life,
you cannot now comprehend the amounts of love, joy, and personal
assistance that are already being pressed out to you in gratitude."
