Your SIM Conference attendance dates this summer are July 11&12, 2017 (at least), but hopefully you'll be able to attend all four days, July 11-14, 2017 to take in all the conference has to offer.

Please note that there are two different Proposals. We hope that you will present at one or the other.

If you would like to present a session at the Tuesday SIMposium<http://sim.kucrl.org/classes/details/the-kucrl-conference-and-simposium> , specifically tailored for SIM Professional Developers, please provide a title, description (up to 150 words), and name of presenters to Mona Tipton at monatipton at ku.edu. Presenters will be notified by March 17, 2017. By submitting a proposal, presenters are providing consent for themselves and all other presenters on the proposal to be videotaped. Your submission of a proposal constitutes a commitment by all individuals participating in the presentation to register for the conference if the proposal is accepted. Presenters who want to make handouts available for participants will be required to submit handouts electronically two weeks in advance of the conference. Handouts will be posted online for participants to download. Please contact monatipton at ku.edu with any questions.

Types of Presentations:

* Concurrent Sessions - 1.5 hr.

* Presentation during SIM Swap Meet Session - 1.25 hr.

2017 KUCRL Learning Conference | July 12-14, 2017

The 2017 KUCRL Learning Conference will focus on the leadership skills that impact instructional change, the tools & strategies to teach ALL students how to learn, & the delivery of high impact instruction. We encourage proposals that address one or more of the following conference topics:

* LEADERSHIP

* LEARNING

* TEACHING


Types of Presentations:

* Concurrent Sessions - 1-1.5 hr.

* Innovators' Provoke - 1.5hr (each presenter has 5 min. for a TED talk like presentation)

* Kaleidoscope - 1 hr. (4 ten minute presentations)

* Panel Presentation & Discussion Sessions - 1.5 hr.

* Poster Session - 1 hr.
