To avoid the issue of students in video we put swivel closer to the
teacher, most of time we only capture the back of students heads. We
also only give access to the teacher for the video, it's not shared with
anyone else. For coaching purposes only .

One more thing, we couldn't record the kids, so that factored into
the decision to not use the SWIVEL.

Subject: [Simtrainer-l] Video Coaching
Hello All,
If you have engaged in video coaching with teachers, could you share
with me what equipment you use for video recording.
I understand there are wireless systems that can be synced to a phone
or tablet that allow the recording device to move freely capturing all
teacher movements in the classroom.
And there are also basic stands for your phone or tablet that allow for
hands free recording.
Not sure if there is something in between these two options that is
affordable.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
Best,
cathy
