It’s the time of year to start the Rhodes, Marshall, & Churchill Scholarship campus application process! Please share the information below with students, colleagues, etc. as appropriate. Students may apply to be considered as a KU nominee for any of the awards as early as spring of their junior year. The campus deadline this year is May 20th. National deadlines for those selected to participate in the national competitions will be in September and October.



The awards are open to students and recent alums of all majors and career interests. Those with strong GPAs, campus and community involvement, leadership potential, and strong professional/academic relationships tend to make the best candidates. The Rhodes Scholarship is open to international students.



The Office of Fellowships supports students with applications for several nationally competitive awards<https://fellowships.ku.edu/search-fellowships-scholarships> appropriate for students in a variety of majors with diverse career interests. If you would like to know more about opportunities that may be a good fit for students you typically work with, I’d be happy to meet to discuss options and/or visit classes or departmental meetings.

The Office of Fellowships is seeking students who are interested in applying for the Rhodes, Marshall, and/or Churchill Scholarships<https://fellowships.ku.edu/rhodes-marshall-mitchell-churchill>. These are prestigious awards for students to attend graduate school at various institutions in the United Kingdom. Typically, these are for graduate school entry beginning fall 2025.



These awards are open to students (and recent alums) of all majors and career interest areas (except Churchill which is STEM-focused).



Please email Erin Wolfram (ewolfram at ku.edu<mailto:ewolfram at ku.edu>) if you are interested in applying and/or accessing further information.



We have a combined committee and application process<https://fellowships.ku.edu/rhodes-marshall-mitchell-churchill> for all three scholarships to select students who will compete in the national competitions. Campus applications are due May 20th. Interested candidates may apply at the campus level as early as spring of their junior (3rd) year in anticipation of national deadlines in fall 2024. Office of Fellowships staff members are available to assist you with your application.



The attached document provides more information. I also have a Canvas space available with step-by-step details, deadlines, etc. to help keep applicants organized and on track! Campus application materials will be submitted in Canvas as well.
