Subject: James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program - seeking applicants
Good morning,
The Office of Fellowships is seeking graduating seniors interested in applying for the James C. Gaither Junior Fellowship. The campus deadline is December 1st with the national deadline January 16th. Please distribute information to students who may be a good fit.
This is a great opportunity for those interested in careers in international affairs. Fellows participate in a substantive working experience in Washington, D.C. as research assistants to scholars working at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
The fellowship pays up to $84,000 over two years for tuition, fees and living expenses for graduate study; a comprehensive orientation program before graduate study; mentorship by Foreign Service members; internships at U.S. Foreign Missions and/or on Capitol Hill; and employment with the U.S. Foreign Service upon successful completion of the Program and meeting entry requirements (the fellowship carries a service obligation).
Full details are available in the attached PDF.
Any questions can be directed to ewolfram at ku.edu<mailto:ewolfram at ku.edu> or fellowships at ku.edu<mailto:fellowships at ku.edu>.
Thank you,
Erin
