Hello KU Political Science Department!

We are opening this year’s Free State Festival with a free screening of the film GUMBO COALITION on June 26 7pm at the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics. GUMBO COALITION is a new documentary by Academy Award winning filmmaker Barbara Kopple about KU Alum Janet Murguía and Marc Morial. Janet is the President of UnidosUS, the largest Hispanic civil rights organization in America, as well as a former Vice Chancellor of KU.
