Just letting you know I will be sharing about the Global Partners program on our social media and with the students.  Through International Student Services, for the students “Global Partners is an exciting opportunity, for them, to meet Jayhawks from around world and engage in cultural exchange here at KU! Through this program, international students are paired with American students and will meet at least twice a month. By participating in the monthly Global Partners meet-up and other activities together, paired students will be able to practice their language skills, learn about new cultures while sharing their own, and develop lifelong friendships.  Their first meet up for students is November 7.  Feel free to spread the word to students in your classes who may be interested.    (see attached)

My name is Josh Smith and I am the orientation and integration coordinator for ISS. We are (re)launching a program called Global Partners which pairs an international student with an American student for the purpose of fostering cultural exchange right here on campus. I’m reaching out to see if you could share the information about this program with students in your department.
