Subject: Reminder Friday POLS Recognition Ceremony

A reminder that tomorrow (Friday) is the Political Science Department's recognition of graduates!!
  All faculty and students graduating, please try to be at the Jayhawk Room, on the 5th floor of the Kansas Union by 6pm for pictures and lining up.  Students will also need to fill a card in that is for the photographer and also for Dr. Kennedy to read from when they cross the stage.   A big thank you to you students who let me know you will make it to the ceremony.   Also, thanks to the graduate students who will be helping out!- I will need grad students to help pass out programs, one to help check students in, and one to help with setup and during the ceremony as the students come down off the stage.  I may also need someone to help me take supplies over to the Kansas Union, to store, around 4:30 Friday.  Graduate help please try to be there by 5 if possible.


Faculty, students, be sure to wear your cap and gown!  I will have extra Pi Sigma Alpha cords for students who still need them.  I will also have the medallions.  Any who did an honors thesis should wear a medallion - if you did not get one please get one from me there.

Communications will have their ceremony before ours, but should be finished plenty before we begin.

Family and friends can proceed in to Woodruff Auditorium to be seated as the faculty and students will march in at the beginning of the 6:30pm ceremony.
