Good afternoon:

We still need Social & Behavioral Science nominees for the election for College committees.  For those of you who have already "rallied the troops" and submitted nominees, thank you! For those whose units lack representation, this is a good opportunity to encourage faculty to get involved in College governance.

See below for details of our gaps in the nomination process. Returning members are listed on the attached spreadsheet.  Please send me some names ASAP so we can hold elections this month for terms that begin this fall.

# of S/BS nominees still needed before elections can be held:

·       CECD - 2   (Committee on Evaluation of Chairs & Directors)

·       CGS - 3    (Committee on Graduate Studies)

·       CSL - 2   (Committee on Sabbatical Leaves)

·       CUSA - 2   (Committee on Undergraduate Studies & Advising)

·       UCCC - 2   (University Core Curriculum Committee)
We have enough nominees for CAC (College Academic Council) and CCAPT (College Committee on Appointments, Promotion & Tenure), but if you have faculty that are interested, they can certainly throw their hats in the ring.  We can always use more alternates.      :o)
