JWB has invited professors to give informal talks this semester. Profs will discuss their research, academic paths, and experiences that led them to KU. There will be time for discussion afterwards. Next week's guest is John Kennedy of Political Science. He researches China's rural governance and development.

JWB is an organization for students interested in global issues and international affairs. Save these dates! On Oct 24 at 3 pm, Dr. Noa Balf will discuss Israel’s gender and politics. On Nov 28 at 3 pm, Dr. Erik Scott will talk about the legacies of Soviet empire and Russia’s policies.
