Dear Colleagues:



In earlier communications we have told you about a letter that a group of us were developing that could be signed by any and all instructors – as well as staff and student colleagues. That list of demands is now available here:

We have also attached a longer version of the demands that spells out our concerns. Please pass this link and letter on to anyone who you think might want to sign, including those in your department. The longer letter is also available at the link above.



Names will not immediately appear on the letter post-signing, but we will add them in batches frequently throughout the coming days.



You may also have seen coverage of our initial protest on KCUR<https://www.kcur.org/news/2020-06-25/ku-faculty-leaders-say-in-person-class-mandate-is-unwieldy-discriminatory-and-perhaps-illegal>.
