Online Workshop: Preparing to Mentor Undergraduate Researchers in Uncertain Times
THURSDAY, AUGUST 13, 2020, 10 – 11AM, Registration link below

This online workshop will focus on what research mentors can do now to prepare for a fall semester that will likely involve major disruptions for mentors and students alike. We will share general strategies, such as getting organized, preparing for busy times, and developing systems for communicating, to help you navigate changing circumstances and make the undergraduate research experience a good one for you and for your students. Mentors should leave the session with some ideas to help them prepare for the fall semester and adapt to changing circumstances. The workshop is open to faculty, staff, and graduate students who will be mentoring an undergraduate researcher at KU.
