[Pols-announce] Course Evalulations, Graduation

Just letting you know that I am in the process of putting together course evaluation packs but am short forms so plan to get more tomorrow, so most should be able to pick their packets up next week.

The department's recognition (graduation) ceremony is May 17 (Friday at the end of finals week).  Faculty members, please  be at the Jayhawk room, 5th floor Kansas Union, and in your regalia, by 6pm at the latest to have group faculty picture before ceremony that is at 6:30pm, Woodruff.

I also could use a few graduate students to help out with the department's recognition of graduates.   One to help set up and pass students out their mug as they come down off the stage, maybe a couple to help pass out programs, and to help direct students to check in and parents to go on toward Woodruff.  Those volunteers will need to be early, around 5:30pm (May 17) and can stay and have refreshments after ceremony if they wish.  5th floor, Kansas Union.  Jayhawk room prior to ceremony in Woodruff.  You will probably know many of the graduating students.  This is a huge help to me as we used to have more staff to support this event.  I may also get a student that is a Junior to help.
