Colleagues:

It's that time of year, when I ask your help in pointing possible interns in my direction.  This year will be a great time to serve as a DC (or Topeka) intern.  A new Congress, an "interesting" president, and thousands upon thousands of terrify internships - from highly political ones to environmental slots or health or arts, etc.  Plus, we'll have a big 35th anniversary gala to celebrate 700+ DC interns over the years.

PLEASE announce this in your undergrad classes.  Along with the ubiquitous posters that are up in Blake Hall, your promotion of this program represents the most important avenue for attracting interested students.

In the past you've been great at sending talented students toward the internship program, and I hope that you can do it again.

Please don't hesitate to have students email me with questions/issues.  As always, we have extra financial assistance to ease the cost burden of going to DC.
