Dear Colleagues.

At 3pm, Friday February 23, in Watson 455, we will be offering the all 
new and improved HOWTO presentation, "Git Orientation for Beginners" 
(http://crmda.ku.edu/johnson-20180223). The slides for the presentation 
have been uploaded with some very lovely new drawings:

I cannot wait till you feast your eyes on this presentation. This uses 
the beautiful new CRMDA Beamer template for slides, which now uses the 
exactly correct shade of KU blue and the authentic organizational logos!

However, some folks who need Git Orientation may be prevented by bad 
weather. It is icy and cold, no doubt.

I think we should take this as a good chance to stress test a Zoom 
meeting.  We'll share the desktop to you and remote participants will be 
able to see and hear what's going on.  It is not as good as being there, 
but it is almost as good.

So lets try it! I've scheduled a meeting named "CRMDA" and the address 
information for it is below.  Consider yourself invited. The more the 
merrier.

Gosh, I hope this works for you. If you have Zoomed before, I'm sure it 
will.  Otherwise, I'd suggest you install Zoom ahead of time 
(https://technology.ku.edu/using-zoom-ku-video-series). There are just a 
few steps to install this and KU IT does have support technicians
