[Electronic-lan] Proposed CDBG/HOME annual funding procedures and draft amended Citizen Participation Plan (CPP)

Attached you will find the first draft of the proposed CDBG/HOME annual funding procedures as well as the draft amended Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) for your review.  The Procedures document speaks to how the City proposes the CDBG and HOME funding allocations are to be recommended beginning with the 2020 program year.  The Citizen Participation Plan is a HUD-required document that speaks to citizen input and regulatory processes for the grants.  These documents will be open for written public comment from 11/1/19 to 12/1/19.   A notice of the public comment period will appear in the 11/1/2019 Lawrence Journal World.  Please submit any written comment and/or questions to Danelle Walters at dwalters at lawrenceks.org<mailto:dwalters at lawrenceks.org>.

This item will be on the 12/10/2019 City Commission agenda.
