World Congress of Malacology in Munich, Germany 1st – 5th August 2022
“A Meeting of Generations”

We would like to cordially invite you to the World Congress of 
Malacology in August 2022.
The congress will take place at the Biocenter of the 
Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.
We are aiming to create a climate friendly event. All contributions from 
the field of Malacology
are welcome, including (but not limited to) aspects of diversity, 
ecology, evolution, climate
change & conservation, and methodological innovations concerning extant 
and fossil Mollusca.

If you would like to suggest a topic for a Workshop, please do so until 
the 30th of October 2021

While we are busy with organizing the congress, we will continuously

Important first dates:
Registration and abstract submission for WCM 2022 will open November 
15th 2021.

We are optimistic, that the global Covid-19 pandemic will be resolved by 
summer 2022
and international travel will be possible. We thus hope to welcome you 
all to Munich in person.
Until then we will closely monitor the situation and keep you informed 
of any changing plans.
