They have a number of geologic and other scientific pieces.  The hammer
safety video at http://www.theamoebapeople.com/video is good for geologists
who have seen too many safety training videos.  "Girl Talk", about Marie
Tharp's contribution to the development of plate tectonics, ties into
biogeographic questions as well.

The title of their piece "The Geologists are Coming" came from a news story
about the American Geophysical Union meeting.  It was a bartender's reason
for why there was no chance of his going on vacation for that week.
