Thanks, Lyubo, but the form did not accept my typing and went back to the University of Hawai’i. I tried several times for town and institution, and then resigned and succumbed to the Hawai’ian superior force.

When your institution is not in the drop down list then you can type it in the field. We obviously need to put a simple text to make this clear.

I just registered (as I still work on European taxa) and could easily put the US in as my country, but then the form accepted only a handful of cities, e.g. Honolulu, Sacramento, and a few more. So for that Red List I am at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in Honolulu. Wrong, but not too bad.

It is unclear from your post whether registration is requested from EU resident taxonomists only or worldwide. I suspect it is EU only, but clarification would be appreciated.
