[Taxacom] Samuel de Champlain collection

Hopefully on a less contentious matter, does anyone happen to know whether
the natural history and ethnological specimens Champlain sent back to
France ever survived through to the present? I am just curious and did not
see any information in a cursory web search and only look for response from
anyone who happens to know offhand - not to research the matter!
