Dear Mikhail,
It would be useful to know the involved names. I understand that
somespecies was established in genus A at that pre-1931 occasion? Then
it should read B. somespecies (Originalauthor, Year).
Many considerations can come in between. Genus A could have been made
available by a subsequent author who just mentioned this genus with a
short description and with one species included (type by monotypy),
previous to the publication of genus B. Types can occasionally also be
fixed by absolute tautonymy.
