Nonsense or not, the term is in use in scholarly articles
<https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C33&q=hololectotype&oq=holo>
and
in books
<https://www.google.com/search?num=30&biw=1287&bih=715&tbm=bks&ei=oNF_WqeWJMmb_Qb4m63gCA&q=hololectotype&oq=hololectotype&gs_l=psy-ab.3...366227671.366232293.0.366233580.13.12.0.1.1.0.92.673.12.12.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.7.346...0j0i13k1.0.0Ks3I3Glzqo>,
especially in entomology. A compiler of a glossary has it as a synonym of
lectotype, but looks as if it is intended to refer to a kind of lectotype.
Determining the intended meaning using lexicographic inference might be
possible for me, but it should be easier for an entomologist.
