[Taxacom] acetone effect on genitalic dissection of Lepidoptera

Acetone degreasing is sometimes used with some large Lepidoptera where
leakage of fat/oils can be quite a problem. While I have not used the
method myself, a colleague asked me if it had any detrimental effects on
the future quality of genitalic dissections such as loss of any cuticular
structures. I would not think so, but really have no idea and so I would be
grateful if anyone can advise on that.

Thanks,

John Grehan
