Hi James,
I'm not a botanist, but I think that you might be able to calculate some very rough estimates based on information given in Joppa et al., 2011, or some of the papers mentioned therein.

Subject: [Taxacom] Angiosperm diversity per biogeographic realm
Greetings! For a project I am working on I am in need of angiosperm
species diversity estimates per major biogeographic region/realm (Nearctic,
Neotroptics, Afrotropics, Palearctic, Indomalaysia, Australian,
Mascarene). My attempts to find an online resource with these data have
been fruitless. Are any botanists on this list aware of any resources
where this information may be collated, either online or in a publication?
Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.
Best wishes,
James
