[Taxacom] Help with Hycleus oculatus please

So Francisco (or anyone else), how is your latin? Does the original
description of Meloe oculatus Thunberg correspond with the look of the CMR
beetle e.g. as illustrated on this page
http://www.biodiversityexplorer.org/beetles/meloidae/meloinae.htm ? The
name I gather comes from the distinctive yellow and black bands as per the
Cape Mounted Rifles uniform, see here:

beetle as their emblem for that reason!)
