Dear all,
In this and similar cases for plants I can recommend the [Plant] Taxonomic
Name Resolution Service or TNRS developed by the iPlant group (for which I
declare an interest as I supplied the fuzzy match component), which
searches 5 fairly extensive plant names lists including Tropicos and The
Plant List. You can access it here:
http://tnrs.iplantcollaborative.org/TNRSapp.html . Enter "Ligslicum
scapiforme" (without the quotes) and press "Submit List" and you will get a
list of exact and/or suggested near matches as available.
