How about "known only from males" or "known only from females", as the case may be? 4 words!

Last week I attempted to post the following,
but for some reason it never
went through. I'd like to try again:
Is there a term or short phrase to
describe the taxonomic situation where a
species (that presumably has both
females and males) is known only from a
single sex? The best I can come up with
is: "a species known only from a
single sex", which, at 8 words, seems
too long and cumbersome. Is there
anything shorter available?
Thanks,
Robert Zuparko
