[Taxacom] Autonymy: usage of terms in Botanical Nomenclature

Thank you Peter, Paul and Mark!
I would tend to use the word "nominate" for this, and am still unsure what
"nominal" means (although in any case doesn't seem to apply to Botany). I
guess I wanted to know is this usage (Botanical usage of "nominate" as an
adj.) is acceptable.
I found a Wikipedia entry for subspecies, which uses "autonymous" for
Botany:

The word "autonomic" seems a little alien and awkward to me.
