Hi,
Our Systematics team is seeking a Plant Systematist to undertake systematics research on New Zealand's vascular plant flora and apply this to contribute to national outcomes. The successful applicant will join a team of 15 researchers and technicians working at New Zealand's largest herbarium, Allan Herbarium CHR, and in association with the living ethnobotanical collections at Lincoln, Canterbury. Work is office, lab, collections, glasshouse and field-based and will involve the use of a wide range of techniques. The successful applicant will be expected to collaborate across a broad range of disciplines that link systematics research with ecosystem function with a particular focus on biodiversity and biosecurity.
This is an open term, full time position and is based at our Lincoln site
